Erin Jelacic received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from DeSales University. After graduating in 2006, she interned and trained in New York City with Tiffany Mills Dance Company; while also working as Production Assistant for Tamar Rogoff’s P.S 122 show “Edith and Jenny”, featuring dancer Arial Flavin and actress Claire Danes.
Erin moved to San Diego in 2008 in pursuit of greater opportunities to share and develop her choreography. Erin’s choreography has been shown at; Celebrate Dance Festival, “The Movement” and “4X4XFloor” presented by PGK Project, as well as, Jean Isaac’s Studio Series Showing. She has taught for San Diego’s Unified School District’s Visual and Performing Arts Program, Visionary Dance Theatre and Pacific Children’s Theater.
Erin’s aspiration has always been to create her own dance company. In 2010, she and dance partner, Drew Ornelas, began the groundwork for their own performance group, Dark Horse Dance Productions.
