Founded as a 501c3 non-profit in 2011, Creative Stages of San Diego provides quality dance education and performance opportunities for dancers of all abilities and learning styles.
Our programming for students with special needs gives each participant the structure and freedom to develop in their own way with self-expression at the core.
Our wonderful Business Manager Jessie has retired from San Diego Danceworks. She has worked at Danceworks for over ten years providing amazing customer service; becoming an expert in all things Jack Rabbit and developing our billing and processing systems. We appreciate all of the great things she has done for our studio and we will miss her dearly!

We have new class offerings to bring to your attention:
Tuesday 3 - 3:45 pm Tap/Ballet Ages 3 - 5 years starts
Tuesday September 28 taught by Ms. Barbara
Sunday 10 - 11 am Open Level Acro Ages 8 + starts Sunday October 10 taught by Ms. Sabrina
We have our Open Floor class on Friday mornings from 11 am - 12 pm All levels Ages 9 +. The class is on our regular schedule and can be added to your monthly tuition. We are offering this class in fulfillment of a technique requirement for Company.
Open Floor gives the student the opportunity to receive individual coaching on skills that they are working on during the week in their group classes. The warm-up focuses on developing the technical skills needed for more advanced dance steps. Dancers choose the skill that they would like to work on that day.
If you have a dancer in Middle or High School who is interested in information about the National Honor Society for Dance Arts please contact Ms. Elena, the coordinator for the San Diego Danceworks Chapter of the National Honors Society for Dance Arts. Mark your calendars for the 2021/2022 Summer Recital
At Creative, Performing, Media Arts Center:
Rehearsals: Tuesday June 21 - Friday June 24
Performances: Saturday June 25 and Sunday June 26
Costume fees will be added to your Jack Rabbit portal by January 1st, and auto-debited with tuition on January 5th.
The Summer Recital Fee will be added to your Jack Rabbit portal by February 1st, and auto-debited with tuition on February 5th.
Docusign agreements for recital participation will be sent December 1st.
More information will be included at that time.
As a reminder, this session ends June 30th 2022.
Your dancer’s enrollment continues uninterrupted until the end of our session.
Families who agree to participate in the recital are committed to enrollment from January 2022 through June 2022.
LOST AND FOUND
Lost and found items are located in the studio lobby. Please check to see if your dancer is missing any shoes, water bottles, or jackets. All items will be donated at the end of the month.
